An exclusive visit was arranged for two non-competing trade magazines, including hotel accommodation. During the site tour press were issued with a comprehensive write up and high quality photographs previously taken on large format. A shortened version was subsequently issued as a general release.
The visit directly resulted in two tabloid and two A4 pages in key publications - space worth over £13,500 in advertising costs alone.
This
was the first major publicity of the warehouse and was subsequently
followed up by over a dozen pieces of coverage in business and trade
journals, from 1/4 page to 2 pages each. The project was also featured
on the SHD Today web site, incorporated into the regular Microlise
newsletter The Thinker and covered in a special 4
page case study leaflet.
